Planned Parenthood Puppet Company Afaxys Selling Contraceptives to the Public Sector

Washington, DC — American Life League released an explosive preliminary report to Congress today detailing the connection between Planned Parenthood and Afaxys, a for-profit provider of contraceptives to the public health sector. The report exposes how Planned Parenthood leaders created Afaxys and are profiting from taxpayers indirectly through the sale of contraceptives to public health providers.

Planned Parenthood of Western Pennsylvania went so far as to call Afaxys a “Planned Parenthood affiliated company” in an internal document. ALL’s report also details public records of monetary transactions between Planned Parenthood and Afaxys.

“The revelations about the Afaxys – Planned Parenthood connection are troublesome,” said Jim Sedlak, executive director of American Life League. “The incestuous relationship between these organizations causes concern over taxpayer-funded 340B programs. It appears that, as Congress prepares to vote on taking direct taxpayer funding from Planned Parenthood, it has established this new relationship to keep taxpayer funding flowing through indirect channels.”

ALL is calling on Congress to investigate the Afaxys – Planned Parenthood relationship. ALL will also continue its own investigation to root out the continued flow of taxpayer money to Planned Parenthood, both direct and indirect.
