About American Life League President's Welcome

American Life League was founded in 1979 by ten pro-lifers – five couples – who believed that God had called us to serve Him, and to do so to the best of our ability. This is why today American Life League works tirelessly to defend truth, to focus attention on the sanctity and dignity inherent in each human being created by God.

In the eyes of God, each human being is created equal. That means that from the point of creation, there is no such thing as a disposable or expendable person. Yet every day we surgically abort thousands of people; we chemically and medically abort even more. And in laboratories, we freeze the babies we do not toss away.

Many pro-life organizations act as though abortion was nothing more than a political question. Waffling and compromising are prerequisites in a movement that was once committed to ending the killing without ever making an exception. At American Life League, we don’t buy it. We know that ours is a moral crusade. If at any point moral principle is divorced from our actions, our battle is lost and the enemy wins. Without consistent truth there can be no lasting victory. Though the world welcomes flawed tactics, God will not honor them. It is my firm conviction that one day soon the killing will end, for nobody beats God.
