American Life League, the nation's oldest Catholic pro-life education and advocacy organization, is looking for a Social Media Manager

Skills would include:
HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress management (plugins, updates), Photoshop
Social Media Platform Expertise: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram
Email Platforms: Constant Contact, Drip
Marketing Experience with: Facebook Ads, Google Ad Words, Snapchat filters, Cross-Platform Campaigns
Job Description
Primary manager of the core social media account and strategic advisor for the social media accounts of the individual organization projects. Responsible for proposing, assisting with and creating meme-campaigns; creating and tracking advertising campaigns and using ROI data to improve performance of future campaigns; constructing and delivering e-mail newsletters as required; updates to and assistance with various websites as required; and detailed monthly social media reporting.

Youth Outreach Coordinator

Are you passionate about working with youth, especially Catholic youth? Are you excited to share the pro-life message with others? American Life League’s Culture of Life Studies Program and Life Defenders youth department are seeking an energetic youth outreach coordinator. 
Youth outreach coordinator responsibilities include:

  • Assisting with event planning and execution, such as National Pro-Life T-Shirt Day and the American Life League activities at the March for Life 
  • Working with American Life League’s Culture of Life Studies Program team to develop an outreach strategy for CLSP youth
  • Giving occasional presentations to high school and college youth on various pro-life topics


  • Bachelor’s degree (liberal arts, media studies, or communications preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of Facebook and Instagram (experience with YouTube, Twitter, and Pinterest is a plus)
  • Basic knowledge of WordPress and website management
  • Basic knowledge of photo editing, particularly for social media (experience with Adobe Photoshop preferred)

The ideal youth outreach coordinator must have the following skills:

  • The ability to meet deadlines
  • The ability to work as part of a diverse team 
  • Experience with blogging
  • Experience in the pro-life movement or other volunteer work
  • Experience working with youth
  • An understanding of and adherence to American Life League’s position on pro-life topics
  • An understanding of and ability to articulate the Catholic Church’s teachings on respect for every human being’s life
